These works arose under the intention of using art as a medium for collaboration, empowerment, entrepeneurship and a platform for conversation for and amongst women. By using art as the excuse, we gathered groups of women and opened up dialogue.

Featured in Costa Rica and Tokyo, each exhibition held a local nuiance of it’s own; In Costa Rica, topics of illegal imigration, poverty, mysogeny, maternity and skilled labor arose in dialogue. Whereas in Japan, the topics of intrest among the collaborators centered around youth culture dominance, traditional vs contemporary values, and art’s influence over culture.
